The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently going to the Fernie two Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render expert services on the community.

SASSA is going to be rendering services including new social grant applications, change of payment method, client treatment enquiries, along with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency reported it's alarmed regarding the substantial range of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The purpose of the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to a higher quantity of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This really is as a result of lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no completely functional office focused on service the area every day. The services point established for intervention ordeals a substantial influx website of potential beneficiaries, that makes it challenging for the Workplace to attend to all people who check out a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise much more means to empower the servicing of all consumers and increase entry to Social Assistance solutions,” the agency said.
